Introduction:
On the 6th of March 2024, our S.4 and S.3 agriculture students from Mumsa High School Mityana embarked on an enriching journey to the National Genetic Resource Center in Entebbe. At Mumsa High School Mityana, we prioritize providing our students with hands-on experiences and opportunities to engage with the latest advancements in agriculture. This collaboration with the National Genetic Resource Center aimed to broaden our students’ understanding of agricultural innovation while sparking their creativity and passion for the field.

Discovering the National Genetic Resource Center – Entebbe:
Situated in Entebbe, Uganda, the National Genetic Resource Center – Entebbe is a prestigious institution dedicated to conserving and utilizing genetic resources for agriculture. It serves as a crucial hub for safeguarding the genetic diversity of crops and livestock, essential for ensuring food security and sustainable development.

Engaging Experiences and Learning Opportunities:
During our visit, our students immersed themselves in a dynamic learning environment filled with interactive sessions, informative lectures, and practical demonstrations.
